BABY BOK CHOY WITH SOY SAUCE REDUCTION

Ingredients

  • 3-4 stalks baby Bok Choy, cut in vertical quarters
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 Cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 Cup oyster sauce
  • 1 Tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp Ground Ginger

Instructions

  • Heat oil over medium heat in a deep pan.
  • Add garlic and cook about a minute. Keep stirring so garlic doesn’t burn.
  • Place Bok Choy in the pan and cook until leaves wilt and stalks start getting tender. About 5-6 minutes, be sure to keep turning stalks to avoid burning.
  • Meanwhile mix remaining ingredients except sesame seeds in a small bowl and set aside.
  • Remove Bok Choy from pan and arrange in a serving dish.
  • Pour sauce mixture in pan and stir.
  • Increase heat to medium high and cook until sauce thickens a bit, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour sauce over Bok Choy, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve.
