Super Bowl Sunday is this weekend and many of us are busy stocking up on snacks for game day.   I know the “normal” Super Bowl snacks include chips and dips, fried and battered chicken wings, and a bunch of other tidbits that can easily make your arteries cry “TIME OUT” and “FOUL”.

Yes for some game day is their one day to indulge, or “pig out” on unhealthy snacks, but Super Bowl Snacks, or any snack for that matter don’t have to be unhealthy to be good.  Here are some healthy Super Bowl Snacks I found around the web you might want to try this year.  I wouldn’t recommend going full steam on healthy snacks, you’re sure to start a riot, but there’s no reason why you can’t sneak in a couple of healthier alternatives to your game day menu!

Super Bowl SnacksGreek Yogurt Guacamole Potato Skins from Running in a Skirt is a skinny alternative to loaded potato skins.

They’re not only healthy, they’re pretty too![spacer height=”-20px”]

super bowl snacksHere’s an alternative to the fat laden 7 Layer Dip from Well Plated.  Try this colorful Skinny Greek Seven Layer Dip.

This dip is super easy to prepare!  It uses fresh veggies and packaged hummus and Greek yogurt.  Serve it with pita chips instead of corn chips, trust me it’s super yummy![spacer height=”-20px”]

super bowl snacksIf your crowd must have something deep fried and battered sneak in these Cauliflower Buffalo Wings from Pop Sugar.

These tasty little morsels are crispy and delicious, you’d never guess they were baked not fried!  It uses garbanzo bean flour instead of white flour making it that much healthier.  Try it with some tzatziki dip, it’s delish![spacer height=”-20px”]

super bowl snacksEveryone loves pizza!  Here’s a no carb alternative: Zucchini Pizza Bites by The Comfort of Cooking.

My daughter makes these all the time.  The boys love them!  Trust me your family will love them too!  They won’t be able to stop at just one![spacer height=”-20px”]
