I love making doggie biscuits for our dog Cannoli.
She’s a very spoiled Siberian Husky. I’m always trying out new recipes.
This time I decided to combine her 2 favorite treats, peanut butter and carrots. I mixed it up with organic flour and rolled oats and came up with a new treat which she just loves.
The recipe yielded 12 bone shaped treats and a bowl full of the smaller 1″ rounds I’ll use as training treats.
Here’s my new recipe it’s really easy to make using just 4 ingredients. I used organic and natural ingredients, but you can use non-organic.
Ingredients:
1 cup organic flour
1 cup organic rolled oats
1 cup natural peanut butter
1 4oz. jar of strained carrots baby food
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Mix until it forms a ball of dough. If it’s too dry and crumbly add water 1 tbls. at a time until you can form a ball.
Roll out dough on a lightly flour surface. Roll to 1/2′ thick.
Cut into desired shape using a cookie cutter or use a pizza cutter to make squares.
Place biscuits on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. Flip biscuits over and continue to bake
