Homemade Taho (Soy Pudding) Filipino Recipe!!!

Taho (Soy Pudding)

Taho is made from extra soft tofu with the texture of silky custard, sweetened with brown sugar simple syrup and topped with tapioca pearls. Taho is a Philippine street food sold by magtataho “peddlers”. They sell it early in the morning, till afternoon, it’s a very yummy snack and a good source of energy to start your day.

This treat is a breakfast staple and also a very satisfying comfort food and very easy to prepare and to cook. Since this sweet treat is of Chinese origin, try your favorite Asian supermarket. It’s called “Soy Pudding”.

This is my version of yummy and healthy Homemade Taho. Enjoy!!!

Ingredients:

20 – 22 ounces extra soft tofu

½ cup uncooked sago pearls

1 – 1¼ cup brown sugar
