Super Easy Garlic Knots

Nothing smells homier than fresh baked bread. My family loves these Garlic Knots.  They go well with any pasta dish, barbecues, or even as just snacks.

Best of all they are so easy to make and use just 4 ingredients.

I usually take out the frozen dough in the morning before I leave for work.  It thaws and rises while I’m gone and is ready when I get home about 8 hours later.

Bridgeford frozen dough usually comes in a pack of 3 loaves.  Each loaf makes 12 garlic knots.  You might consider making more than a loaf at a time.  They disappear quickly as soon as they come out of the oven!

Ingredients:

1 loaf Bridgeford Frozen bread dough
1/2 stick butter
1 tbls. garlic powder
1/4 cup shredded fresh Parmesan Cheese

Directions:

Thaw frozen bread dough on a clean and slightly oiled surface.

Let dough rise at least 6 hours

Cut risen dough into 12 strips with a sharp knife or pizza cutter. End strips will be a bit shorter, but that’s okay.

Tie each strip into a “knot”.  You can stretch out the shorter end strips so you can tie them into a knot.  Knots don’t have to look perfect.

Place each knot on to a parchment covered baking sheet.

Melt butter and stir in garlic powder.

Brush garlic butter on each dough knot.

Sprinkle each knot with Parmesan Cheese

Bake in 400 degree oven for 20 minutes or until they are golden brown.  Serve fresh and warm with your favorite pasta dish!  It goes great with my Spinach & Cheese Pasta Rolls!
