Splash Party

Summer time is screaming for a Splash Party!
There’s nothing kids love more than playing in water.  If you have a summer birthday coming up hosting a Splash Party is a great way to celebrate and cool off at the same time; but even if you’re not gather the kids, their friends, family, and neighbors and get together for a splish splashing good time.

If you have a pool in your backyard, have access to a community pool, or live on the beach or lakefront then you already have your party venue; but even if you don’t you can turn your backyard into a fun water park fairly inexpensively with items purchased from one of the discount stores.

The main ingredients of a successful Splash Party are sun, water, and cheap plastic toys.  Get the kids in their swimsuits and set them loose for a day of splashing fun.  Here are some great ideas to get you started!

Splash Party
Four to Adore

Set up plastic or inflatable pools  in the backyard.  A pop-up tent is a great idea to keep splashers from getting sunburned.

If you have child sized chairs, umbrellas, and picnic tables set those out too.  If you don’t lay out beach towels for kids to sit on.
