We all remember Conversation Hearts or Sweethearts, those sugary heart shaped wafers with cute Valentine saying imprinted on top.  We’ve given and received boxes of them throughout our childhood.  Conversation Hearts are an iconic symbol of Valentine’s Day.  They’ve been around since 1901, the sayings have changed over the years to keep up with the times.  But no matter what the words say the heart shape, colors, and flavors have stayed the same.

These days the candies aren’t limited to the boxed Valentine treats that have become classroom staples.  They’ve morphed into Valentine’s Day decor, cards, and treats.  They’re used in vases, as cake toppers, and have been replicated to use as streamers, cards, cookies, and more.  In short in the month of February Conversation Hearts are everywhere!

Here’s a round-up of Conversation Heart treats you can make and share with friends and family.
They all look cute and are definitely yummy!  Enjoy!
